Ready for Some Great News?

Not surprisingly, most of our focus the last few days has been Emma. She continues to do splendidly and is back at school today. However, this post is not really about her. Even when life is hectic, it doesn't stop, things keep happening, good and bad keep on coming. We got a letter Friday from the school district informing us that Alta (8) has been accepted into our district's gifted program. This is the same program the older two are in, and she's very excited to be able to join them. We're excited for her, she might even be able to begin this year instead of waiting for next year, if so, she will be our first one involved at a second grade level, which she is also very excited about.
